When should a Consultee seek a Consultation?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When a person suffers the sudden breakdown of some bodily organ (or\u00a0 bodily system), he seeks out a doctor &#8211; a specialist in that domain. What is<\/strong> <strong>the Process of a <em>Jyotisha <\/em>Consultation<\/strong>?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #9a1808\"><em>A Jyotisha Consultation is an intense process of learning through dialogue &amp; enquiry. <\/em><\/span>There are generally two individuals involved here, the <span style=\"color: #9a1808\"><em>Jyotishi<\/em><\/span>, who is the <span style=\"color: #9a1808\">Consultant<\/span> and the <span style=\"color: #9a1808\">Consultee<\/span> who has come in a distressed condition or in a mood to ascertain the truth in some sphere of his life. Sometimes there may be<span style=\"color: #9a1808\"> two or three Consultees,<\/span> who are family members. <span style=\"color: #9a1808\"><em>Both are equally important; neither, more important than the other.<\/em><\/span> There has to be an empathy for each other, and there must be an honest sharing between the two of them. The <span style=\"color: #9a1808\">Consultee<\/span> must have the freedom to ask Qs and the <span style=\"color: #9a1808\"><em>Jyotishi<\/em><\/span> must be patient &amp; willing to reply all Qs. Importantly, if the <span style=\"color: #9a1808\"><em>Jyotishi<\/em><\/span> does not know the answer to a certain Q, he must have no hesitation in owning up to his ignorance. For his part too, the <span style=\"color: #9a1808\">Consultee<\/span> must not hide facts, but must rather share all necessary life details. <span style=\"color: #9a1808\">The <em>Jyotishi<\/em> must also maintain confidentiality of all information shared with him in trust.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>[\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]<div class=\"vcex-module vcex-teaser wpex-flex wpex-flex-col\"><div class=\"vcex-teaser-content\"><div class=\"vcex-teaser-text wpex-mt-10 wpex-last-mb-0 wpex-clr\"><p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;color: #9a1808\"><strong>3. Two <em>Darshanas<\/em> (Frameworks) in the Consultation<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><a href=\"https:\/\/hinduworldastrology.net\/staging\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Block-3-1.jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-1157\" src=\"https:\/\/hinduworldastrology.net\/staging\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Block-3-1.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"250\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hinduworldastrology.net\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Block-3-1.jpeg 1600w, https:\/\/hinduworldastrology.net\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Block-3-1-300x150.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/hinduworldastrology.net\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Block-3-1-1024x512.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/hinduworldastrology.net\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Block-3-1-768x384.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/hinduworldastrology.net\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Block-3-1-1536x768.jpeg 1536w, https:\/\/hinduworldastrology.net\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Block-3-1-600x300.jpeg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a>The consultation, commences when the <span style=\"color: #9a1808\">Jyotishi, introduces to the Consultee, two darshanas (frameworks).<\/span> These are like two domains, <strong>\u2018<\/strong>two halls<strong>\u2019(<\/strong>if you wish to put it that way), within which the whole process of the consultation &#8211; namely learning through dialogue &amp; discovery &#8211; happens.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #9a1808\">The first <em>darshana <\/em>(framework) is that of <em>Jyotisha itself<\/em><\/span><strong><em>.<\/em><\/strong> It is a symbolic <strong>\u2018<\/strong>life-story<strong>\u2019<\/strong> or <strong>\u2018<\/strong>astrological-biography<strong>\u2019<\/strong> of the <span style=\"color: #9a1808\">Consultee. In step 1<span style=\"color: #000000\">,<\/span><\/span> the <em><span style=\"color: #9a1808\">Jyotishi<\/span>,<\/em> introduces to the <span style=\"color: #9a1808\">Consultee<\/span>, <span style=\"color: #9a1808\"><em>the mythic model of Jyotisha<\/em>,<\/span> which will then enable the <span style=\"color: #9a1808\">Consultee<\/span> to creatively grasp what <span style=\"color: #9a1808\"><em>Jyotisha<\/em><\/span> is all about.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #9a1808\">In step 2<\/span>, the Consultee is exposed to the three patterns, central to <em>Jyotisha<\/em>. <span style=\"color: #9a1808\"><em>These are<\/em> <em>Divine architecture,<\/em> <em>Divine patronage,<\/em> <em>Divine conspiracy<\/em> in his\/her own life.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #9a1808\">In step 3<\/span>, the <span style=\"color: #9a1808\"><em>Jyotishi<\/em><\/span>, introduces the <span style=\"color: #9a1808\">four important sub-systems of <em>Jyotisha<\/em>.<\/span> These are not difficult to understand &#8211; when one approaches them with an open mind.<\/p>\n<p>(i) Twelve Zodiacal Signs,<\/p>\n<p>(ii) The Twelve Houses,<\/p>\n<p>(iii) The Nine Planets (<em>Navagrahas<\/em>), and the finally, the<\/p>\n<p><em>(iv) The Vimshottari dasha-bhukti<\/em> system of clock-time.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #9a1808\">The second <em>darshana <\/em>(framework)<\/span> is that of <span style=\"color: #9a1808\">Krishnamurtian<\/span> <strong><em>self<\/em><\/strong>&#8211;<span style=\"color: #9a1808\">Knowing<\/span><strong>.<\/strong> The <span style=\"color: #9a1808\">Consultee<\/span> will be educated to discern the <span style=\"color: #9a1808\"><em>Atma karaka<\/em><\/span> and the <strong><em>self<\/em><\/strong> in all the twelve houses of the Rasi Chart. <em><span style=\"color: #9a1808\">Both frameworks will urge the Consultee to face the harsh reality of life, which will be obviously, one of vexing duality.<\/span> Most people learn nothing at all through suffering. They do not know how to suffer, do not internalize suffering, so their <strong>self<\/strong> never <strong>\u2018<\/strong>dies<strong>\u2019<\/strong>, and is therefore never ennobled. Thus, they do not flower by assimilating suffering through <strong>self<\/strong>-Knowing. <span style=\"color: #9a1808\">Both frameworks offer a profound understanding of oneself, how one\u2019s <span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>self <\/strong><\/span>is Divinely architectured, and how it reels under Divine conspiracy. Both darshanas(frameworks)offer profound understanding also of \u2018other people\u2019; profound understanding of the Mysterious, Intangible &amp; Unmanifest Divine.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>[\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;]<div class=\"vcex-module vcex-teaser wpex-flex wpex-flex-col\"><div class=\"vcex-teaser-content\"><div class=\"vcex-teaser-text wpex-mt-10 wpex-last-mb-0 wpex-clr\"><p><strong><span style=\"color: #9a1808;font-size: 18px\">4. The Consultee comes to the <em>Jyotishi<\/em> because of a Life-Crisis<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In every life-crisis, <span style=\"color: #9a1808\"><em>disruption &amp; destruction<\/em><\/span> happen in the inner world of consciousness &amp; <strong><em>self<\/em><\/strong>, as well as in the outer world of relationship, money matters, family life, profession, power, position &amp; prestige. A wise <span style=\"color: #9a1808\"><em>Jyotishi <\/em><\/span>must address the disruption &amp; destruction in both the inner as well as in the outer worlds. He \u00a0must offer acceptable lines of solutions in both spheres. <span style=\"color: #9a1808\"><em>In this process, he should not make the mistake of making the Consultee psychologically dependent on him. Is the <em>Jyotishi<\/em> Competent to Heal the Broken <em>self<\/em>?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Here, we have to pay close attention to the inner world. In ancient society, people invariably turned to an ashram, a temple, a church, a guru, a church father, a yogi, a shaman, a god, a deity, or some holy book for receiving<span style=\"color: #9a1808\"> <em>guidance &amp;<\/em> <em>healing<\/em><\/span>. In modern times, we go to psychologists, psychiatrists, psychotherapists, counsellors and the process is often long-drawn-out and may not be fully effective either. <em>The reason is that in these modern approaches, <span style=\"color: #9a1808\">Primordial Awareness, the source of healing is not invoked at all, much less, understood as the Ultimate Healing Source.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Sankara Bhagavadpada approaches this widespread &amp; deep problem of the bruised &amp; broken <strong><em>self <\/em><\/strong>through both <em><span style=\"color: #9a1808\">Jyotisha<\/span> as well as <\/em>through<span style=\"color: #9a1808\"> Krishnamurtian<\/span> <strong><em>self-<\/em><\/strong>Knowing. In this way the hurt &amp; disturbed <strong><em>self<\/em><\/strong> has much better chances of recovery and restoration to the former state of inner equipoise. This is not a promise of some rapid miraculous healing. <em><span style=\"color: #9a1808\">Rather, much serious work has to be done by the suffering Consultee himself\/herself, by understanding and by becoming aware of what is going on in his\/her consciousness and in the world of the <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>self. <\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Then after attending to the inner world; the disruption &amp; destruction that the life crisis has created in the outer world, must also be addressed.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>[\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]<div class=\"vcex-module vcex-teaser wpex-flex wpex-flex-col\"><div class=\"vcex-teaser-content\"><div class=\"vcex-teaser-text wpex-mt-10 wpex-last-mb-0 wpex-clr\"><p><span style=\"font-size: 18px\"><strong><span style=\"color: #9a1808\">6. The Healing Sources are Accessible from Within<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #9a1808\">In truth, it is the Primordial Awareness, and then, our Intelligence and Understanding which heal. Because no one told us this emphatically, we have been looking for Healing in the outer world.<\/span> In truth, we already have the master keys within us.<\/em> <em>What is missing is our <strong>self<\/strong>-Knowing, and also our recognition that we already have access to this infinite invisible Awareness. It is now only a question of humility &amp; sincere willingness to learn about ourselves. Because of the confluence of <span style=\"color: #9a1808\">Krishnamurtian<\/span> <strong>self-<\/strong>Knowing and <span style=\"color: #9a1808\">Jyotisha<\/span>, the healing process opens a new Gate and becomes more efficacious than in the traditional approaches. <span style=\"color: #9a1808\">Maitreya Jyotisha is the name for this potent confluence of two profound streams of learning &amp; healing. One very ancient, and the other modern, yet immensely original &amp; profound.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>[\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]<div class=\"vcex-module vcex-teaser wpex-flex wpex-flex-col\"><div class=\"vcex-teaser-content\"><div class=\"vcex-teaser-text wpex-mt-10 wpex-last-mb-0 wpex-clr\"><p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;color: #9a1808\">7. \u2018Disruption &amp; Destruction\u2019 Caused by the Life Crisis<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Note however, that <em>the healing of the <strong>self <\/strong>is a process on the inner side of our complex life. We will now address the <span style=\"color: #9a1808\">disruption &amp; destruction<\/span>, the life-crisis has caused on the outer side. That calls for <strong>\u2018<\/strong>intelligent action<strong>\u2019<\/strong>, which is superior to <strong>\u2018<\/strong>tactical &amp; timely adjustments or manipulations<strong>\u2019<\/strong>. Spiritual people, or people who have digested <strong>self-<\/strong>Knowing will be able to take <strong>\u2018<\/strong>intelligent action<strong>\u2019<\/strong>, which would never have been possible had they not cared to look within themselves (<strong>self<\/strong>-Knowing). <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #9a1808\">Both are important, the breakdown in the inner, as well as in the outer spheres of life, so both must be addressed.<\/span> <\/em>Other people, who turn a blind eye to the inner realm, will only resort to <strong>\u2018<\/strong>outer tactical &amp; manipulative decisions<strong>\u2019<\/strong>.<em><span style=\"color: #9a1808\"> The result will be that, in spite of the problem having been <strong>\u2018<\/strong>considered resolved<strong>\u2019<\/strong>; they would never be able to recover from sorrow, and from the inner darkness, anger &amp; brokenness.<\/span> The proverbial healing that time is supposed to bring in can also be expected to be only of a superficial nature. In fact, it is self-deception that time will heal.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>[\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]<div class=\"vcex-module vcex-teaser wpex-flex wpex-flex-col\"><div class=\"vcex-teaser-content\"><div class=\"vcex-teaser-text wpex-mt-10 wpex-last-mb-0 wpex-clr\"><p><span style=\"color: #9a1808\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px\"><em>8. Jyotisha\u2019s<\/em> Solution for the \u2018Outer\u2019 Life Crisis<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>After the <span style=\"color: #9a1808\"><em>Jyotishi<\/em><\/span> has initiated us into <span style=\"color: #9a1808\">Krishnamurtian<\/span> <strong><em>self-<\/em><\/strong>Knowing, if we are utterly earnest &#8211; while still reeling under the life-crisis \u2013 it would lead to<span style=\"color: #9a1808\"> <em>Inward Flowering<\/em><\/span> and also the <span style=\"color: #9a1808\"><em>Awakening of Intelligence<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In the <span style=\"color: #9a1808\">Amanaska Yoga<\/span> domain of Sankara\u2019s work, the above themes are addressed deeply, systematically and thoroughly. <em>One may solve a life-problem by brute force, or through manipulation &amp; deceit, or through this <span style=\"color: #9a1808\">Awakened Intelligence.<\/span><\/em> <em>The highest kind of solution for addressing the outer disruption &amp; destruction that the life-crisis has caused, has to come from the <span style=\"color: #9a1808\">Awakened Intelligence.<\/span><\/em> <span style=\"color: #9a1808\"><em>Maitreya Jyotisha<\/em><\/span> inspires &amp; cautions <span style=\"color: #9a1808\">Consultees<\/span>, not to be hasty and impetuous. For when they are hasty and impetuous, they will not wait for the <span style=\"color: #9a1808\"><em>Awakened Intelligence<\/em><\/span> to step in and handle the disruption &amp; destruction. Instead, they may resort to brute force or manipulation, deceit or even accept failure passively.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>[\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]<div class=\"vcex-module vcex-teaser wpex-flex wpex-flex-col\"><div class=\"vcex-teaser-content\"><div class=\"vcex-teaser-text wpex-mt-10 wpex-last-mb-0 wpex-clr\"><p><span style=\"color: #9a1808\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">9. Will the Consultee have access to the Recorded Online Consultation?<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Yes, this is one reason, why the Online Zoom consultations may be preferred. They offer much larger \u2018take-a-ways\u2019 than the face-to-face consultations. Not only the recorded Zoom video &amp; audio can be accessed and saved, even the docs used in the Zoom consultation can be taken away, saved, viewed and listened to again &amp; again for greater assimilation and internalization.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>[\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]<div class=\"vcex-module vcex-teaser wpex-flex wpex-flex-col\"><div class=\"vcex-teaser-content\"><div class=\"vcex-teaser-text wpex-mt-10 wpex-last-mb-0 wpex-clr\"><p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;color: #9a1808\"><strong>10.
