To Understand Suffering, to be Free of Suffering(Healing)<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In the ancient Hindu view of the human drama, life was broadly seen as <em>an earlier &amp; longer part, from birth to sixty-seventy years(<span style=\"color: #9a1808\">artha &amp; kama<\/span>); and a later &amp; shorter culminating part, from sixty or seventy till end of life(<span style=\"color: #9a1808\">dharma &amp; moksha<\/span>).<\/em> In modern times, in spite of our incessant pursuit of pleasure, wealth, name &amp; fame, and notwithstanding the reward of <strong><em>self<\/em><\/strong>-gratification that comes as a consolation &amp; solace; life in <em>artha &amp; kama <\/em>is by and large characterized by <span style=\"color: #9a1808\"><em>recurring, interminable sufferings<\/em><\/span>, for which there are no real answers in sight. <em>We are always seeking <span style=\"color: #9a1808\">Divine patronage<\/span>, but we never seem to understand that life by its very nature has the copresence of both, <span style=\"color: #9a1808\">Divine patronage<\/span> as well as, <span style=\"color: #760b0a\"><span style=\"color: #9a1808\">Divine conspiracy<\/span>.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>[\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;]<div class=\"vcex-module vcex-teaser wpex-flex wpex-flex-col\"><div class=\"vcex-teaser-content\"><div class=\"vcex-teaser-text wpex-mt-10 wpex-last-mb-0 wpex-clr\"><p><span style=\"color: #9a1808\">2. In modern society, the ancient patterns, designed by the sages have all broken down.\u00a0 New unbalanced chaotic patterns have taken their place. Who May Study <em>Maitreya Jyotisha<\/em> Courses?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #9a1808\"><em>Maitreya Jyotisha<\/em><\/span> must be studied by all educated, serious &amp; intelligent people, young &amp; old, men &amp; women. We may take up this study, for our own clarity, for our understanding, for our own maturity, for our own peace, for our own liberation. <em>It represents the higher spiritual vision &amp; culture from the ancient world of the Hindu sages.<\/em> In fact, even when we are still in the thick of material life(in the spheres of <em>artha &amp; kama)<\/em>, if we can but start learning <em>Jyotisha<\/em>; learn about the <strong><em>self<\/em><\/strong>, in us and in others, learn about <span style=\"color: #9a1808\">Life<\/span>, learn about the mysterious <span style=\"color: #760b0a\">Divine<\/span>, there is the possibility of wonderful clarity, courage and <em>a balanced fulfilment<\/em> in all the four spheres of life: <em>dharma, artha, kama &amp; moksha &#8211; provided of course, we see the great wisdom of sacrificing our selfishness &amp; our shameful life of the <strong>self.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Nobody can persuade us or pressurize us to embark on this inner heroic adventure, we alone can give ourselves this freedom, this deep understanding, this ending of suffering. In fact this freedom is our birthright, our innate <span style=\"color: #9a1808\"><em>Atmic nature<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>[\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;]<div class=\"vcex-module vcex-teaser wpex-flex wpex-flex-col\"><div class=\"vcex-teaser-content\"><div class=\"vcex-teaser-text wpex-mt-10 wpex-last-mb-0 wpex-clr\"><p><span style=\"color: #9a1808\">5. Krishnamurtian <strong><em>self<\/em><\/strong>-Knowing in <em>Maitreya Jyotisha<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><em>Without the clear Light of Jyotisha, life is bound to appear confusing, conflicting, depressing &amp; meaningless. <span style=\"color: #9a1808\">Maitreya Jyotisha<\/span>, by emphasis on <span style=\"color: #9a1808\">Krishnamurtian<\/span> <strong>self-<\/strong><span style=\"color: #9a1808\">Knowing<\/span>, dispels this darkness and then lo! there is Light. A negative incident, a misfortune, a crisis, a loss, a calamity, a failure, disgrace &amp; dishonour, a divorce, a disease, a <strong>\u2018<\/strong>death-like suffering<strong>\u2019<\/strong>, which are\u00a0 invariably the <span style=\"color: #9a1808\">Divine conspiracies<\/span><strong>,<\/strong> they alone can take us upward into the higher spiritual life, into freedom. The Religions, Sensitize us to Suffering &amp; Inspire Us to Pursue the Ending Suffering(<em>moksha<\/em>)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em>Usually, the religions give us a worldview in which <strong>\u2018<\/strong>suffering<strong>\u2019<\/strong> is central, and they deal with the enormous problem of the ending of suffering-which is called <span style=\"color: #9a1808\">moksha<\/span><strong>.<\/strong> However, while the religions speak the language of the masses &#8211; parables, <strong>\u2018<\/strong>gods<strong>\u2019<\/strong>, <strong>\u2018<\/strong>demons<strong>\u2019<\/strong>, legends, mythologies, avatars; <span style=\"color: #9a1808\">Jyotisha by contrast, addresses the most important problem of suffering more directly, more deeply, more profoundly. It is intended for the more cultured, more perceptive, the more sensitive, for all those intelligent seekers and astrologers, who never got the answers to their deep questions from religions, from gurus, from sacred texts and from modern psychology\u2026.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>[\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]<div class=\"vcex-module vcex-teaser wpex-flex wpex-flex-col\"><div class=\"vcex-teaser-content\"><div class=\"vcex-teaser-text wpex-mt-10 wpex-last-mb-0 wpex-clr\"><p><span style=\"color: #9a1808\">7. J. Krishnamurti<\/span> has put it), you have to learn to stand on your own feet, learn to look at humanity &amp; Life as an outsider.
