Muhurtas for all Auspicious Beginnings

The Remedial Measures prescribed in Vedic astrology & in the Systems Approach are certainly not to be taken as ‘some actions’, which when performed ‘mechanically’ will bring about an end to the karmic-obstructions in our life. As we have adequately emphasized in Part VII & VIII, there has to be a change of heart at the time these Remedial Measures are being taken up. As explained in Part VI & confirmed by the numerous case-studies of Part IX; the individual who comes now on the path of the astrological Remedial Measures, is obliged to have devotion & sincerity as essential spiritual qualities for undertaking these time-tested Remedial Measures.

We provide excellent auspicious Muhurtas for various important occasions in life, according to the stringent standards of the Systems Approach to Vedic astrology. The Muhurta, when a certain activity comes into manifestation for the first time, may be compared to a seed or bija, which then becomes the starting point for the unfoldment of that seed or bija, into the full stature of a tree or vriksha. A Tamarind seed cannot give birth to a Mango tree, nor can a Mango seed give birth to a Banyan tree.

From this we may realise the immense significance that has to be attached to that seed or bija, as a moment in time, for that holds its entire ‘destiny’ as revealed in the Muhurta chart. Needless to say, there are good moments & bad ones and their respective destinies are accordingly different. Important milestone events in life must naturally be commenced, when their ‘seed or bija‘ is determined to be auspicious, strong & pure. This is the deepest principle underlying astrological Muhurtas and may be called the bija-vriksha-nyaya. Examples of such significant milestone events which must be commenced during auspicious Muhurtas are the following: [See case-study 2 of Part IX]
